Alaina, who was born in the year 1989 took home the WinniSTAR Talent competition, which was open to youth in Lake Winnepesaukah. Alaina was motivated to sing because of her sister, Holly Witherow, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Alaina was employed at CiC's Pizza prior to her she joined Idol. She went to Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe in Fort Oglethorpe Georgia as a cheerleader.
